While this was pretty good, it took an eternity to assemble all 120 balls of dough, meat, and cheese. The description says this is easy, and I suppose the steps involved are simple, but the process is very time consuming. For the time invested, I could have made (and EATEN!) two pepperoni pizzas. It tasted fine, but I will never make it again. Good, but not worth the trouble.

I agree this is a great tasting recipe, I disagree with the easy making part. This is really time consuming. It probably took us more like 30 minutes to assemble this. BUT well worth the time to make! We used pre-sliced pepperoni and dipped each assembled piece into garlic butter and sprinkled lots of parmesan cheese over the whole thing. Yummy! thank you for sharing!

Why on earth doesn't this recipe have a gazillion 5 star reviews? Makes no sense to me! This is absolutely to DIE for, it's so good! Here's what I did; I used sliced pepperoni. I used one loaf of bread, so I wound up baking in a loaf pan I'd sprayed with Pam. Once assembled and in the pan, I brushed some of the melted butter on top and added a fine layer of shredded mozzerella before baking for 40 minutes. Sheer perfection! I experimented with different amounts of the ingredients in each individual piece. What I've found is that you should use 2-3 slices of pepperoni (torn into smaller pieces) and a larger chunk of mozzerella, and roll in such a small amount of dough that you're sure you're not using enough of the dough, that the fillings will pop out (they won't). Otherwise, you really can't detect the fillings as well. This would make a great party appetizer! Either make in a bundt pan or in loaf pans, or even individual bits on a cookie sheet, make several kinds of dips (melted butter, pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce, various melted cheeses, salsa, etc) and have a pizza fondue party! If it's any indication, I ate more than half of the loaf by myself! Thanks sooo much for posting this recipe! Edited to add: Ever since making this the first time yesterday, I've been craving this, even dreaming about it! I made it again tonight, and achieved sheer perfection by sprinking some garlic powder before baking. I also sprinkled some garlic salt, but unless you're a salt lover like me, skip that part! I literally could live off this bread! If you love pepperoni the way I do, you MUST try this! The advantage to this recipe over the ones where you stuff pepperoni into loaves is that each piece is bite size, and you get the right amount of pepperoni and cheese in each bite. Plus, you can pull off some of the pieces, throw them in a bowl, and just snack to your heart's content! Edited again to add: The first couple of times, I used Hormel sliced pepperoni, the kind that's bagged to where the pepperoni is loose in the bag. The last couple of times, I used the Hormel kind that was sliced, but packaged to where the slices were stacked together in two stacks. With the latter, it will come out greasy unless you first microwave the pepperoni on a paper towel to help remove all that grease. Now, drop everything and make this recipe!

Tastes somewhat like pizza only in bread form. Kids loved it! We had to have some homemade spaghetti sauce to dip it in (after we had eaten half of it). Would also be good dipped in garlic butter, although it is great by itself.
