OMG!!!! This is absolutely fantastic.....and I forgot to add the whipping cream. I only tasted a tiny bit that was left over after I decanted it but WOW it's delicious. I agree with winkki, I too would give it more than 5 stars. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Country Girl...!! It;s a keeper.

I TOTALLY agree with Winkki--this is terrific!! I bought 8 oz. decorator bottles at BB&B, made this exactly as written, bottled it up, wrapped them in red cellophane paper with a dress up gift tag and delivered 3 of them last night. Today I will make 4 more to be delivered tonight. Wanted to try a single batch first. Thank you for posting; I'm sure my recipients will enjoy as well!

Oh my goodness, CL, I would give this ten stars if I could! I'm only sorry that I found it the week after Christmas instead of the week before, or I'd have known what to make for everyone, lol. This is very smooth and rich, creamy, sweet but not too sweet, and with the perfect amount of peppermint zing. Oh, it is SO good! Wow. This has to be one of my top ten recipes off of Zaar ~ thank you so much for posting it!

Yes, this is awesome. Just be careful on the amount of peppermint you add. I literally added just a couple of drops and it was plenty for me. Also, next time I think I'll cut back on the chocolate a little as well. Again, just personal preference. Still a great drink!
