This is an excellent and different way to prepare bacon. The sweet/peppery/smoky combo is fantastic. I do cook it a bit longer, as we like bacon pretty crispy. Thanks for posting, Bergy!

Mmm....BACON! I could eat a pound in one sitting and nearly did with this recipe. I used parchment paper to line the baking sheet, omitted the brown sugar for personal preference and cooked for about 20 minutes total, turning the pan 1/2 way through. I do like my bacon well done, which will explain the picture. ;o) Thank you, Bergy!

This is a great recipe. So easy, and so delicious. I used about 1/4 cup brown sugar for a 1-1/2 pound package of thick cut bacon. Used cracked pepper on 1/2 the pan, and left the other plain since my kids don't like pepper. This makes the best BLT (bacon lettuce tomato) sandwiches ever!
