Delicious squares - DH adored these even though he's usually far more interested in the savoury stuff on the table! Very rich and a little goes a long way. I made 1/2 recipe and baked in a 8" square pan for 22 minutes. Perfect! Thank you very much for a great recipe!

These were EXCELLENT! I think they are even better than pecan pie. I over baked mine a little, but they were still delicious. Everyone who had one raved about them. Thanks for a great new recipe!

This really is like pecan pie but mabey not as gooey! I made the crust on a processor using frozen butter to assure it baked out light and tender, made these wonderful bars for my DS to enjoy, thanks for sharing hon!...Kitten

If you like pecan pie you'll love these. They have a nice shortbread crust and a pecan pie like topping with the essence of honey. They were very easy to make. I used 1 and a half cubes of butter which is 12 tbsp because 1/3 cup is just over 6 tbsp. I used pecan chips. I was really tempted to add cinnamon to the topping but decided to stick to the recipe this time. One of my co-workers said this was her favorite thing I've brought so far and that's saying a lot because I've been bringing tons of baked goodies! It may be my oven but the edges were burnt at 25 minutes...so I just cut about 1/2 inch off around the sides and the rest was fine. Thanks for another ter-ruff-ic recipe cookiedog! Made for Zaar Tag.
