Hello there!! I love this combination and have enjoyed it for years! I picked up the idea from my Grandfather, but he liked sausage patties with peanut butter on toast. This was my breakfast last Sunday morning, and it was sooo satisfying. Thank you so much for posting this recipe!

    Hi greetings from Portugal. Oooh my how this brings back memories of when I was 15, and living in Northern Canada, a friend of ours would always serve us kids this treat every friday night. Thanks for bringing back some lovely memories.

    I grew up on this recipe! Talk about comfort food I will admit I used to use more than 2 slices of bacon. Nowadays, I use Hormels bacon bits. Thanks for posting so others can enjoy.
