I made this last weekend for my dads birthday dessert. He is a peanut butter pie lover! He thought this was the best!!! I crushed up peanut butter cups, and peanuts and put them on top. After each piece was sliced on the plates, I added another plop of cool whip and drizzled some Hershey's chocolate syrup across the top. Everyone loved it and it was gone in no time!!!! Thank you for an excellent keeper recipe!!!

This was a delicious pie that lent itself to "lightening up" very well. I used 1% milk, fat free cream cheese, and fat free cool whip and you never would have guessed! (and I am a "low fat dessert" snob!). One suggestion- buy 2 pie shells- I had enough filler for two and had to end up pouring some mix down the sink! Yikes!

The other reviews are right. This is definitely a recipe everybody should try. I have been wanting to make it for ages now and it did not let me down. One of the most delicious pies I’ve ever made. I couldn’t keep it too long in the freezer because I was so eager to taste it hehe. I used an Oreo pie crust and once the pie was set I drizzled with chocolate and caramel before topping with a thin layer of cool whip. I then sprinkled a little dry chocolate on top. Heavenly! Thanks so much PA Cindy.
