Peanut Butter Fudge Sauce

I found this yummy recipe on the Web at southernfood.about.com. I used it in Kathleen Talbot's "Oreo Ice Cream Delight" #11911. WOW!! Just had to share it with the Zaar family!

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    In a 2 quart microwaveable bowl, combine corn syrup, peanut butter, and cream.

    Microwave on HIGH for 1-1/2 minutes, until boiling.
  3. 3
    Add chocolate chips and stir till melted.
  4. 4
    Cool and store in fridge.
  5. 5
    Warm up to serve over ice cream.

My kids love peanut butter and they went nuts over this on top of their ice cream topped with whipped cream and crushed peanuts!

    This was delicious! It was very smooth and creamy. I poured it over vanilla ice cream, added crushed peanut butter cups, and whipped cream for a peanut butter sundae. Yum! I halved the recipe and it still made a lot! Thank you for posting!

    Thanks soooo much for sharing this recipe. This definelty deserves 5 (or more) stars. It is extremely rich and sweet but oh yum!!! I served it over some hot fudge pudding cake and ice cream.
