This recipe is easy and really yummy, not to mention pretty healthy. I revised another recipe from this site to go with what i had available.

SERVES 1 , 1 pita (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 whole wheat pita bread (one ready to fill)
  • 2 tablespoons reduced-fat peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons granola cereal
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Directions

  1. 1
    spread peanut butter inside pita.
  2. 2
    top with granola.
  3. 3
    mash banana either in peel, or with a fork, add to pita.
  4. 4
    top with honey if desired.
