My mom helped me post this recipe. These candies are like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and are fun for kids to make because you don't have to cook them. My mom and I made these together.

30 pieces (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Stir together powdered sugar, peanut butter and butter until well mixed.
  2. 2
Shape peanut butter mixture into 1 inch balls, placing them on a baking sheet covered with waxed paper.
  3. 3
Let balls stand for 20 minutes until dry.
  4. 4
Melt the dipping chocolate or confectioners' coating.
  5. 5
Drop balls one at a time in melted chocolate.
  6. 6
Using a fork, remove from the chocolate, letting excess chocolate drip off.
  7. 7
Place back on the waxed paper.
  8. 8
    Let stand until dry.
  9. 9
Store tightly covered in a cool dry place.

Being a peanut butter lover, i had to try this recipe. I halved the quantities just to try it out. The mixture was too runny so I added the melted chocolate to the peanut butter mixture and they set almost instantly. so, the rest of the chocolate I hadn't melted, I grated and rolled the balls in it. YUMMIE!! it worked like a dream, great recipe!

These were very good! I'm really glad that I tried them! I had to use crunchy peanut butter as that is all that I had on hand. I used milk chocolate for the dipping and sprinkled some with some icing sugar for an added effect. Very tasty!! Thanks for posting! - Christina

Wow!! These are wonderful! I can't believe how easy they are. I used creamy peanut butter, and dipped them in semi-sweet and milk chocolate. That way everybody got their favorite.I put them on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper to set. So easy and so good. Thanks for a great recipe. It will get a lot of use!
