Peach Cobbler

Recipe #31901 | 55 min | 10 min prep | add private note

By: Suellen Anderson

I found this recipe on the internet from the Salt Lick Restaurant in Austin, TX. Everyone loves this recipe so much I have to make a double batch! Feel free to cut back on the sugar. Everyone has and it still comes out perfect. :D Personally, I always use two bags of frozen peaches instead of canned.

Incredible! We used 2 really big, really sweet fresh peaches and used buttermilk instead of regular milk. This is now my "go to "cobbler recipe. Thanks so much for posting!

Simple and delicious! We used 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of white sugar in the batter, but omitted the sugar in the filling entirely. We also used 1.5 cans of peaches, very well drained. As noted by others, it takes only 30 minutes to bake to bubbly perfection. Thanks for sharing!

This was absolutely delicious!! It was very easy to prepare and I had all the ingredients on hand. I have never made a peach colbler before and this one will definately be a repeat in my home!! I may cut back a wee bit on the sugar next time. As well, it only took 30 minutes to cook to a golden brown for me. Served it with French Vanilla Ice Cream - Yummy!!!

Made this for work lastnight and there is none left!!!! Very good and simple to make. I left out the nutmeg and used fresh peaches instead of canned, turned out lovely!
