I had gotten this same recipe from my Grandmother who made if for years and now I've made it for years and it's amazing. Don't let the combination scare, it wonderful. I also use regular saltines instead of Ritz.

Di, I have to thank you for digging this one out for me. It went over really well and sure gave me wonderful Christmas memories. I do believe next time I will try it with regular saltines instead as it had a little sweeter taste than I remembered. Don't be afraid to try this out.

This was quick and easy to make. I used 2 packages of frozen creamed corn and 2 10 oz. cans of regular oysters (couldn't find baby oysters)and I should have added just a little more cream. I did add about a tsp of thyme, and garlic pepper to taste. My husband loved it and I'll definitely make it again.
