Orange Snapper

A delicious, heart healthy recipe. Great for those watching thier carb or fat intake, or those who just want to eat healthier! Just a bit different from the other snapper recipes that I thought it was worth posting. Adapted from The Healthy Heart Cookbook.

SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
    Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. 2
    Arrange fillets in a 13x9 inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
  3. 3
    Combine water and remaining ingredients; pour over fillets.
  4. 4
    Bake, covered, at 350 F for 10 minutes.
  5. 5
    Remove cover and bake an additional 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork when tested.
  6. 6
    Carefully transfer fillets to serving platter and garnish with orange wedges if desired.

very bland. We did not like it at all. Needed much more seasoning. I even put sliced oranges on top when I baked the filets. mary

    I just made this for lunch and it was wonderful. The orange flavor wasn't overpowering...it was very good. It was also my first time cooking snapper...I'm glad it turned out so well!
