I thought these were excellent and the kids (ages 5 and 9) had a blast helping make them. I made 2 batchesand in one batch we used 1 cup of dark brown sugar and 1 cup of granulated splenda. and replaced the chocolate chips with raisins (for me and the hubby)... the other batch we left out the walnuts and used a whole bag of chocolate chips (for the kids) Both batches turned out terriffic! Thanks

Wonderful, super easy recipe - it only takes one bowl! Next time I will soften the butter more first since I mixed it by hand and not with a mixer. Also, I used craisins instead of walnuts & chocolate chips, and they still turned out great.

These cookies were a big hit with my family. I creamed butter & sugar before adding rest of ingredients as suggested by another reviewer. Beautiful results.

These were very good! I omitted the walnuts and added raisins along with the entire bag of chocolate chips! I also used regular butter since I was all out of unsalted. Thanks for sharing!
