Nutella Rolls

Recipe #269736 | 25 min | 10 min prep | add private note

I just made these the other day. They were so incredibly easy. Only 4 ingredients! I loved them. So different. And right out the oven ... they taste like a fabulous French pastry. At least in my imagination ... seeing as I've never actually tried a French pastry right out of the oven.

SERVES 8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

  • nutella
  • banana (optional)
  • powdered sugar (optional)

Directions

  1. 1
Spread out a crescent roll triangle.
  2. 2
Drop a dollop, about 1 or 2 teaspoons, in the middle .
  3. 3
Add a slice of banana if that's what you choose.
  4. 4
Wrap the banana and Nutella in the pastry dough pinching the edges together. And then I kind of swirl the dough on the top.
  5. 5
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  6. 6
Bake in 375 degree F oven for 15 minutes, or whenever they are golden and look baked.
  7. 7
    Serve while warm or cold.

Made & reviewed for Recipe of The Week in the Kid Friendly Forum. I thought these were absolutely fab! Unfortunately, I cannot find refridgerated crescent dough in the UK so I used my own briche recipe & some homemade nutella. The result was fantastic & everyone was ecstatic, I'll definitely be making these again very soon. Thanks Monica for a grat recipe.

Delicious!! We all liked these. Made some with just the Nutella and some with Nutella and a couple of raspberries. Didn't need to cook as long as recipe stated. We followed the time recommended on the crescent roll package and they turned out perfectly. Thanks!! We will definitely make these again.

This was awsome!!!! I served this to the kids and they loved them but I could also see serving it at a brunch or as a desert for a dinner party! It was so universal I will take the advice of previous reviewers and fill them with other things. Fast, easy and cost hardly anything at all to make such a fancy desert!
