SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Combine sugar, flour, salt and baking powder. Stir well.

    Beat egg and vanilla.
  3. 3
    Stir egg, vanilla, apples and walnuts into flour mixture.
  4. 4
    Spoon into 8 inch or 9 inch greased pie pan.

    Bake 30 minutes at 350°.

    When cool serve with ice cream or whipped topping.

good but sweet! it baked up perfectly. the batter is thick, don't worry it'll thin out as it bakes. i added a little splash of lemon juice and i'd probably cut back on the sugar just a little bit, maybe add some spices next time, too. but it is a really good and easy snack.
