I found this in a brochure tucked in one of my mother's cookbooks, and just loved the whimsey of the name.

SERVES 5 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Boil ramen noodles in 6 cups boiling water with soup base packets added, until just done, 2-2 1/2 minutes.

    Drain and rinse with cold water thoroughly.
  3. 3
    Chill.
  4. 4
    Cut ramen noodles into 3-4 inch lengths.
  5. 5
    Saute noodles in butter.
  6. 6
    Add parsley, cheese, and garlic salt.
  7. 7
    Mix well.

Loved this recipe. It was just me for dinner last night so this worked out great. The only thing I changed was I had garlic powder instead of the salt. Will make it again. Thanks.

    My children really enjoyed this. I followed the recipe as written other then I didn't add the parsley. I also used garlic powder instead of garlic salt. I think it would be even better with minced garlic.

    I never knew there were so many ways to use Ramen noodles. I love it!! This was very good, quick, and easy. Will use this recipe again.

    Very yummy! I did make the mistake of not getting the pasta hot enough before I added the cheese, so I had to cook it longer and the cheese got a little lumpy,but the taste was very good, and I'll try it again making sure I saute the pasta longer and add the cheese at the very end. Still a keeper!
