No Fail Pastry

Recipe #353902 | 20 min | 20 min prep | add private note

By: Rinder
Feb 4, 2009

I could never make a good pastry until I got this recipe from my sister, and I don't know where she acquired it. This freezes well and because it makes several pies it's great to have in the freezer all the time.

2 -4 pies (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. 2
    Cut in margarine and lard.
  3. 3
Mix water, egg yolk and vinegar together.
  4. 4
Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and pour in the liquid mixing well.
  5. 5
This can then be wrapped and frozen or used immediately.
