No-Fail Easy Cake Mix Brownies

Recipe #167707 | 35 min | 10 min prep | add private note
KITTENCAL

These are similar to a packaged brownie mix, they have a great brownie texture and take only minutes to make, just dump everything in a bowl, mix and bake! If desired frost with my Kittencal's Chocolate Buttercream Frosting/Icing

SERVES 12 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Set oven to 375 degrees (second-lowest rack).
  2. 2
Grease an 11x7 or a 13x9-inch baking pan (the brownies baked in a 13x9 pan will not be as high).
  3. 3
In a large bowl using an electric mixer beat all ingredients except walnuts or chocolate chips until smooth (the batter will be thick).
  4. 4
Add in walnuts of chocolate chips mix to combine.
  5. 5
Spread into the prepared baking dish (the batter will be very thick so have patience!).
  6. 6
Bake for about 25-30 minutes (do not overbake).
  7. 7
    Cool completely before frosting.

I can only give full stars but this really deserves 4.5 stars. Easy, easy and great results. Hubby made them with the kids and he said he'd have preferred more nuts than the recipe called for. Definitely going into the recipe box. THANKS!

These are the best brownies I have ever had. And believe me, I have had a lot. I baked them in a 13 x 9 glass pan and I added both walnuts and chocolate chips. They are perfect except for one thing, WE CAN'T STOP EATING THEM.

These were ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS !!! Very enjoyable. I used walnuts instead of chocolate chips. I also used chocolate frosting. Got to make another batch for the guys at work. Yet another 5 starer by kitten. Made for Zaar Stars.

These are easy, quick and wonderful. I make these when I don't have the patience for scratch brownies, since I know they'll come out great. Thanks, again, Kittencal, for another great recipe!
