I just started making jams for the first time this past spring. I love this recipe in the fact that it doesn't use as much sugar as the normal pectin recipes included in the box require. A great alternative and so easy/peasy. I made peach BTW Made as a recipenap for Veg-n-Swap~

Found the Ball Freezer Jam packet myself.I used sugar for the first batch, will try Splenda for the next one. I love this produce, it takes a lots less sweetener.

Wonderful! I have always used the cooked variety of the freezer jam. But this recipe not only lessens the work, but also decreases the amount of sugar used by 2 1/2 cups and still tastes great! Thanks so much WI Cheesehead!
