I, personally, didn't like these all that well. (Then again, it could have been because my Rice Krispies were quite stale.) I guess I'm just too spoiled by the recipes that contain butter or margarine and are baked. So, after trying a bite or two of these, I crumbled them back up, added some margarine, and baked them for 30 minutes, taking tips from another recipe. I will say, once they were baked, I REALLY liked the taste of these ingredients, with the addition of margarine. So, I will probably keep your ingredient list as my default to use with the modifications I made. Thanks!

Wow! These are so good and so easy, I am wondering just why I haven't done this before? I did add about 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips. My husband thinks I am a the bomb for making these! Thank you for sharing this easy and remarkable little recipe. LOVE IT!

These bars are easy to make and taste good. They even freeze well. I made them exactly as directed in the recipe, but the next time I make them I will omit the brown sugar. DH needs to cut down on the sugar and I think the corn syrup will make it sweet enough for us. Excellent recipe! Thanks for sharing.

These are just great granola bars. I've made them about a dozen times now and went through withdrawal earlier this week when I didn't have the ingredients to make them. I cut the rice crispies to two cups and add 1/3 cup of wheat bran to up the fiber content. With 1/3 cup of chopped pecans and 1 cup of chocolate chips, they taste like chocolate chip cookies. There are so many good things to add. When I know I'm adding too much, the mixture does get a little dry. So, I add about a tablespoon of honey to the sugar mixture. Thanks for the great recipe. I think I'll be making these forever!
