This was actually taken straight from the BLUE BONNET margerine tub. My daughter is 9 and wanted to try it. She did well, I merely set the oven and let her have at this. SHE did well! Basic recipe Im sure. Easy.

SERVES 9 -12 , 18 -24 cookies (change servings and units)

    Preheat oven for 350 degrees.

    Mix all ingredients well (She used a hand mixer).

    Spoon out on ungreased baking sheet 1-2 inches apart.

    Bake 15 minutes or until edges begin to brown and cookie "looks" done.

Good basic recipe. Added a dash of salt, otherwise made as stated. Sieved flour and baking soda (as I always do) before adding to the other ingredients. The dough is very stiff and I found it easier to roll the cookies by hand instead of using a spoon. This made 25 rather large cookies which baked in exactly 15 minutes. The cookies are crisp on the edges and semi-soft in the middle. For the non-Americans; 3/4 cup butter/margarine weighed 120 grams on my kitchen-scale. Thanks for posting.
