I'm always looking for different ways to cook carrots. Adapted from their website.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sliced carrot, cooked
  • 1/2-1 tablespoon Mrs. Dash garlic and herb seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Directions

  1. 1
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan.
  2. 2
Add 1/2 teaspoons Mrs. Dash and sauté for a minute.
  3. 3
Add the brown sugar and mix until dissolved.
  4. 4
Add the cooked carrots and continue to sauté for about five minutes or until the sugar starts to glaze the carrots.
  5. 5
Taste and add more of the seasoning if you like.
  6. 6
    Serve hot.

These were really good. Cooked carrots aren't one of my faves but this recipe really enhances them. The only change made was to use baby carrots instead of sliced carrots. Made for Everyday is a Holiday Tag.

These were really yummy and so simple to fix. DS doesn't eat cooked carrots and I told him to try one. He asked me if I'd fix them like this all the time and I told him if he'd eat them I will. Well, he ate all of them. Thanks so much for sharing and turning my DS onto cooked carrots. Made for PAC Fall/2008.
