I came up with this idea when I learned how to tap maple trees on a field trip to a local wildlife preserve.

What a treat. I made this with sugar free ice cream and no sugar added syrup to make it diabetic usable. The maple flavor comes through beautifully and it's thick but not too thick to use a straw. Congratulations to this young chef.
