I loved this! It doesn't taste like brown rice at all. Even using unsweetened soy milk, this was very sweet from the fruit. I only used half an apple and this was still a lot of food. This is two breakfasts for me. Made for the Humble Soybean game.

This wasn't bad. I'm not used to eating warm cereal type foods for breakfast (like oatmeal), so it was a bit odd for me, but I did really like the taste. I made it with short grain brown rice which I think just adds to the nutty flavor. I used plain soymilk (I think flavored would definitely taste great), raisins, walnuts, and a granny smith apple. This recipe was a perfect fit for what I'm allowed to eat on my 30-day detox, and I'll likely make it again.

This was great - I can't wait to try all the different variations possible. For this try, I made it with whole milk instead of soy, and added about 1/4 tsp of vanilla. I used dates, yummy, as well as some chopped dried apricots, and used walnuts, apples, and blueberries. The best thing was the fruit gave enough sweetness that there was no need for additional sugar. I just sprinkled a little cinnamon on top. Unfortunately, my kids were less than thrilled, but they're not big rice eaters anyway. Thanks!

I had some leftover coconut rice which I used for this, also added some pepitas & sesame seeds to go with the fruit & served with some vanilla yoghurt for a nourishing brekky this morning! Thanks!
