Mom's Waldorf Salad

This is my mother's well loved recipe. Christmas dinner would not be complete without this lovely salad.

SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Place apples, celery, and nuts in a large bowl.

    Mix together cream and Miracle Whip.
  3. 3
    Add cider, sugar, salt and pepper to cream mixture.
  4. 4
    Pour over apples and mix well.

    Chill until serving time.

    This is GOOD!! Wonderful taste. Lovely presentation. Easy to make. I wouldn't change a thing, it's a perfect salad for any occasion. I will put this one in my "keeper" file. Thanks Miss Annie for another super recipe.

    I should have reviewed this before now because this has become a regular standby for me since I first made it several months ago. The only difference is I add raisins and substitute a packet of Splenda for the sugar.
