I loved the cookie recipe but cut out cookies aren't my strong point. I made these today to practice. I ended up rolling 1/2 of the dough into balls and just making circles. I'll keep trying. Thanks so much for posting!

This is a really great sugar cookie recipe if you like soft, thick cookies. After reading the other comments I did add 1/2 cup of brown sugar also just to make them a liitle sweeter. The final result was a nice soft cookie with a nice, not overly sweet flavor. The dough itself was a little sticky even after several hours in the fridge, but plenty of flour on your hands and the counter took care of that. This will become my staple suger cookie recipe. Thanks for sharing!

These cookies are so good! They're nice and soft with a not too sweet taste. I just cut them in rounds and after baking, I sprinkled them with powdered sugar. Very easy recipe! I will make these again. Thanks Laura!
