Been watching the Japanese drama call "Lunch Queen" and been rating the Omurice and looks so yummy and I really want to cook it. Today I cooked it for my little pumpkin and my brother in-law and they are are loving it. I'm very impressed too. Really easy to cook & taste so yummy. It's a bit hard to fold the eggs over but still don't look too bad. Arigato Tomoko San, hondo-ni oshi kata.

Delicious, Somewhat challenging to make, for a beginner like me anyway. Very, very filling. I got about 3/4 through it and had to stop before my stomach erupted and I was hungry at the time.

Your favorite dish has now become mine too. I've always wanted to make omurice before but never did...until now. So glad I did. I've substituted turkey bacon to cut down on the fat, left out the chicken, and instead added chopped bell peppers, carrots, and frozen peas to make it a little more healthier. I don't think it mattered, because it was still so yummy. Brown rice would also work since the flavoring and topping is what really makes this dish exceptionally tasty. Thanks so much for posting this recipe; your mom really is a great cook!
