Great Job Caryn! Hubby and I made a the whole batch tonight in preparation of the cold front coming in this weekend and in Montana it can be brutal! I did use the large box of instant pudding and was tempted to put in a second small box just for an extra rich flavor. Getting ready to pack some in pretty jars and send to some of our friends across town!

Getting ready to make a batch of this mix for a Valentine's gift. It sounds delicious. Just wondering what size pudding mix is recommended? Thanks! Update: I went ahead and prepared the recipe using the larger box of pudding and it came out great. Thanks Caryn!

I have been using a similiar recipe for years. I run my mix through the blender to make a smoother mix. This will distribute the ingredients more evenly. Over the years the sizes (amount in container) of the ingredients have become smaller, so I use the nearest to the required size. I sometimes add rasberry Kool Ade to my personal mix, to make a "gourmet" treat.

I made this last night, and of all the hot chocolate mixes I have made(and there have been alot!)This one is the best.It is more chocolatey(is that a word?)than the others. It also seems to dissolve better in the hot water.I will make this one from now on.
