Mom's Baked Beans

Recipe #26917 | 1½ hours | 25 min prep | add private note

My Mom has made these for years. I don't really care for baked beans and I love these as does anyone who has ever eaten them. They are so simple to make and have such a wonderful flavor--even better the next day! I do hope you try them because once you do you will make them again. Enjoy!

Yum, great flavor and loved the mixed beans. The only thing I did differant was had 1 tsp of liquid smoke and it made for a great side to a bar b q we had with smoked briscit, chicken and sausage. YUM, will be making again and again. Not a bean left by the end of the party. Thanks Donna, loved it.

Hello! This was a tasty recipe! At first I was like another reviewer and didn't know how I would like the combination of the different beans. I was very suprised and satisfied with this side dish. I served this with Baked Barbecue Chicken and buttered corn. It kind of reminded me of a summer meal, but yet was great comfort food. Since it was just my boyfriend and I, I halved the recipe. There is plenty leftover, so I put it in the freezer to enjoy again really soon. Thank you again!

This will be my new baked bean recipe. Best baked beans any of us have ever eaten. Didn't change a thing.

People will rave over these beans! Thanks for posting this recipe. Great for barbeques. I made the beans a day in advance except for actually baking them, refrigerated them and then baked them the day of my barbeque. Takes a little prep time, but well worth it! FYI - Don't skimp on the bacon, or cheat by using bacon bits. It just isn't the same
