Called the best meatloaf in Pol Martin's Guide to Modern American cooking. I haven't tried it but yet but wanted to post it so I can.

SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. 2
    Put meats and seasonings(not bay leaves)in a large bowl and add onion and garlic.
  3. 3
    Mix well.
  4. 4
    Add breadcrumbs and eggs; mix and stir in cream.
  5. 5
    Press mixture into a loaf pan and place bay leaves on top.
  6. 6
    Set the loaf pan into a roasting pan of hot water and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
