followed the recipe to the letter..but the dough was difficult to mix.and ended up like a pancake from hell only bigger..when they came out of the oven..they fell apart and were " crunchy " on the bottom...I would guess there was too much flour ..and when I try this again will cut the flour down to 4 cups..and go from there...other than that..they were good..cant compare to Mc Donalds..as I ve never tried their cinnamelts..so because of that..will have to give this a 4 star rating..instead of 5 :o )

We loved these but the directions were a litte vague as I was unclear in the filling portion if Nikki Kate doubled that as she changed the amount of flour in the dough portion according to her notes. Also, if you overfill these muffin tins at all the filling will ooze out and make a mess on the bottom of your oven. My husband and daughter said they tasted wonderfully, though.
