Great salad! Thank you for the recipe, which I modified a little. I also marinated broccoli overnight following Johnsdeere's advise. I added a TBS of dijon mustard to the dressing and did not use sugar altogether. As to the cheese I halfed chedder with feta. And fresh dill and parsley never hurt a green salad )

This was terrific!! I made this for my husbands birthday BBQ this past weekend and everyone loved this recipe. The night before I just mixed the broccoli and sauce together, and then the next morning I added the bacon, cheese and onions. I wanted the sauce to help soften up the broccoli but, only the broccoli. Thank you for sharing this recipe!!

I cater many events, and this is the favorite salad. The only change I do make is, I add white vinegar to the dressing. It makes a sweet sour taste which keeps everyone coming back for more, plus they want the recipe... Thank you for posting it....

I made this salad as a side dish to our dinner tonight and it was delicious. Hubby even commented on how wonderful it was. The best part was how fast and easy it was to make! The only thing I did differently was instead of red wine vinegar, I used balsamic vinegarette. Absolutely a keeper! Thanks so much.
