Marinated Chicken Wings

Delicious chinese flavoured chicken wings that will have you licking your fingers!

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Cut tips off the chicken wings and discard.

    Separate the drumette from the wingette and put aside.
  3. 3
    If you prefer you can just leave wings as they are.
  4. 4
    In a large bowl mix together all the other ingredients until smooth making sure all the honey is mixed in well.
  5. 5
    Add wings to the marinade and place in the fridge for about 20 minutes before cooking.
  6. 6
    Wings don't need to be marinated for very long.
  7. 7
    Cook on a BBQ or place in a moderate oven, about 180 degrees celcius until caramalized and golden.

    About 40 minutes.

    I ended up leaving these in the oven for an hour which was way too long. I think even the 40 mins as the recipe calls for might have be a bit much. They tasted all right but I've had better. Maybe the dijon mustard idea would add some pizazz.

    I was stuck for a recipe for chicken wings even after goning through all my recipe books. It was so frustrating. Luck was on my side because I discovered this wonderful recipe on Recipezaar. It was a DELICIOUS meal and very easy to prepare. I served the chicken wings with stir-fried rice. I can highly recommend this recipe. Thanks to the person who originally submitted it!
