These were tangy and oh so yummy! I had 7 boneless skinless breasts so I doubled the marinade, but kept just the 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes(feeding a 6 yr old too) and added a little brown sugar . I marinated for about 3 hours and served with "Perfect Pasta Salad "(from this site) and sourdough rolls. It smelled great on the grill and was so good! Thanks, Marie!

This recipe is a favorite with kids and adults everytime I make it. You can even add 2 cups of plain yogurt to the marinade. Smells fantastic while it's grilling. Thanks for adding this to the zaar database.

I'm always thrilled to find a lovely marinade that adds lots of flavor without a lot of effort or oil. This one was everything promised. The flavors came togethter beautifully and the chicken was moist and tender. I didn't have pepper flakes so I used 1/2 teaspoon of ground chile molida.
