Mouth-watering sweet oaty bars. These bars will keep for up to 5 days in an airtight container

    Preheat the oven to 350°F

    Grease and line a 10 x 6 x 1.5in tin with baking parchment.
  3. 3
    Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the syrup and sugar, then simmer until the sugar has almost dissolved. Remove from the heat and stir in the oats.

    Spoon into the prepared tin and bake for 25 minutes.

    Cool and mark into 16 squares.
  6. 6
    Turn out and cool completely before cutting into the squares.
