These are so good that it is hard to stop eating these.I also like to make these with pecans. Would be a great addition to a salad.

    Preheat a dry skillet over a medium-high heat. Add the walnuts, maple syrup and salt. Cook, stirring frequently, until syrup is caramelized and nuts are toasted, about 3 minutes. Let cool.

I just love these. I lost this recipe and found it again on recipezaar. Thanks cookiedog I am going to make them in a little while. By the way, these freeze very well. I am making a double batch so I can freeze some!

    Thanks, cookiedog. This is a super recipe. The nuts are not at all sticky and have a nice flavor. I added additional sea salt for more of a sweet/salty taste. Soooo quick to make, almost no cleaning up to do. If you need a last-minute gift, this is it. . . . . Janet

    Quick, delicious and versatile. I can imagine using these in a spinach salad. I used an egg timer to keep track of the 3 minutes. Perfect.

    Made up 1 cup of these as a snack for us and they were so delicious I should have just gone and made the entire recipe. I would really like to try these next time with a bit of spice, too. I think they would take to chili really well.
