So delicious. The chili and herbs bring out the flavor of the mangoes. I had to double the sambal oelek to coat them. A must try for mango lovers.

I really enjoyed this Salad. I added 1/2 avocado as it is one of my favourite foods and seemed to go so well with this. I could only get 1 large mango but I kept the other ingredients as per the recipe. The flavour was very challenging to pick and had the chefs in the family stumped for a little while. A sure keeper for this family. Made for PAC Spring 2008

Absolutely superb — with a perfect balance of flavours. Made as written and served at room temperature. It fed four as a side dish. Thanks so much for an interesting and creative way with mangoes. UPDATE: I am spending a year travelling through Africa on the back of a truck. Our cook group made a variation on this salad in Mali where mangoes were cheap and plentiful. Had to sub tomatoes for the chili sauce out as one of our 28 has an ulcer, but followed the rest. Everyone loved it. P.S. We used 12 mangoes and two bunches of mint. Yummo!
