Mai Tai - a tropical and fruity rum drink.

SERVES 1 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 fluid ounce dark rum
  • 1 fluid ounce amaretto liqueur
  • 3 fluid ounces orange juice
  • 3 fluid ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 dash grenadine

Directions

  1. 1
    Fill a 12 ounce glass with ice cubes.
  2. 2
    Pour in rum and amaretto.
  3. 3
    Fill remainder of glass with half orange juice and half pineapple juice.
  4. 4
    Add a splash of grenadine for color.

    Very nice fruity drink. Completes my evening. I didn't have Dark rum so I used gold label rum. Thanks for posting Juenessa

    It's a dark and rainy Fall day - your Mai Tai was the perfect remedy to make me feel warm and happy!! Perfect blend of juices and alcohol - loved loved loved this!! Thanks Juenessa!

    This was just a tad too much pineapple juice for me, but the solution is a little more OJ, a little less pineapple juice, and still a delicious drink. I didn't have dark rum, so I just used regular. Thanks, June, for a really wonderful new drink.
