This was on back of my Malt-O-Meal Hot Wheat Cereal box.

SERVES 12 (change servings and units)

    Mix all ingredients in order until flour is moistened.

    Fill greased muffin tins or paper lined tins 3/4 full.

    Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Wow. These are probably the best muffins I've made yet! I must admit, I did not expect such tastiness from an oatmeal muffin, but I think these tasted almost like regular oatmeal (with sugar) in muffin form! Yum! I don't see where they could be improved on, but I am thinking about using some brown sugar in place of some of the white sugar next time to make another variety that I hope will be equally good.

    Delicious and easy muffins!! Added chocolate chips... for color!! Nice tall moist muffins with a crunchy exterior. Put them in a 375F oven for 20 minutes. thanks Charlotte!!

    Very good flavor & easy to make. But, my muffins didn't stay together. They all crumbled.

    I was searching to post this yummy recipe, an oldie but a goodie. Calls for original MaltOMeal hot wheat cereal (recipe lists instant oats???) which gives the muffins a bit of a grainy texture I love with jam. Can add 1 t vanilla also. I make this especially for the kids as MaltOMeal is fortified and a great source of iron, as well as calcium and folic acid. Thanks, Charlotte, for posting!!
