Macadamia Crusted Mahi Mahi

This recipe is from my Church Suppers Cookbook.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces fresh mahi mahi
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 ounce macadamia nuts
  • 1 ounce jalapeno seasoned bread crumbs or if this is not available use Italian seasoned breadcrumbs (panko)

Directions

  1. 1
    Coat the mahi mahi steaks with oil and season with salt and pepper. Combine the nuts and the crumbs; dredge the steaks in the mixture. Heat a cast iron pan or nonstick pan and sear the mahi mahi over medium heat 3 minutes each side for medium rare. garnish with asparagus.
