Low Fat Soy Banana Bread

Recipe #183692 | 50 min | 15 min prep | add private note

By: cookie in calgary
Aug 29, 2006

I altered this recipe from one I had at home by using soy flour and splenda. Soy flour is high in protein & lower in carbs. Depending on the kind you use, it can be higher in fat. You may need to add a bit more applesauce if you use the low fat soy flour as it is chalkier & will absorb alot of your moisture.

SERVES 10 , 1 loaf (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Blend splenda & apple sauce. Combine with mashed bananas & dry ingredients only until moistened. Scoop mixture into a greased loaf pan & bake 35 - 45 minutes at 350F until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  2. 2
***This is really good served with natural peanut butter on a slice.***.
