Lois' Luscious Layered Fudge

C'mon, you know it sounds delicious!

SERVES 9 , 9 squares (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 (1 ounce) package milk chocolate chips

  • 1 (1 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped (optional)

Directions

  1. 1
    NOTE: Read all directions before making the fudge.
  2. 2
    In saucepan, over low heat, melt semi-sweet chocolate chips w/ 2/3 cups sweetened condensed milk, 1 tbsp cream, and 1 tsp vanilla.

    Remove from heat; stir in 1/2 cup nuts.

    Spread evenly into foil lined 9-in sq pan.
  5. 5
    In another saucepan, over low heat, melt milk chocolate chips w/ remaining sweetened condensed milk, 1 tbsp cream and 1 tsp vanilla.

    Remove from heat; stir in 1/2 cup nuts.

    Spread over fudge in pan.

    Chill 2 hours.

    Turn onto cutting board; peel off foil and cut into squares.

    Store loosely covered @ room temperature (or eat it all now)!
