This was my first tyr at home made pumpkin pie. It turned out really good. Had good flavor and was super easy. My pie was not very orange. Maybe it was just the color of the pumpkin I used. Tasted awesome though.

This pumpkin pie is really one of the best. It's almost the exact same as the one on the back of the E.D. Smith can of pumpkin puree!! My only addition is a teaspoon of rum extract. It really steps up the flavour!

I have been making this pie for over 40 years. It can't be beat. Others just don't taste right. The only changes I make are sometimes I use half brown sugar, and I always add a teaspoon of vanilla. Baking the pie in a glass or stoneware pie pan helps keep your crust from being soggy on the bottom.

This is so good. The pies come out so much better using individual spices than when using "pumpkin pie spice".
