I make this all summer long. I don't know if the kids like it as much as I do but it doesn't last long. I like a bit more lemon juice also, but then again I like Tart.

SERVES 8 , 2 quarts (change servings and units)

    Combine the first three ingredients and stir until sugar is dissolved, add ice and lemon slices then serve.

    Perfect! It took 4 regular size lemons to make about a cup and a half juice. Just the right amount of tart and sweet. Thank you!

    The perfect drink for a hot summer's day. I had just zested a bunch of lemons and wanted to use the juice, this recipe really came in handy. We like our lemonade sweet so I added another 1/4 cup of sugar. To help it dissolve easier I used room temperature water and then stored the lemonade in the fridge for a few hours before we drank it. I also added a few sprigs of mint to the second batch, very refreshing!
