These won't shrink up like the fatty ones, and they taste much better.

I tried these today (am doing a low carb diet) and really enjoyed them. The nutmeg flavor stood out the most, and next time I might add some dry mustard. These were so awesome with yellow mustard to dip them into though! Thanks MizzNezz!

This is a great recipe for anyone on a low carb diet, because most store-bought patties have some form of sugar in them. The patties are so easy to put together, and smelled so good when frying. I crumbled the leftovers to use in other recipes, worked well!

I never knew it was so easy! These patties came out darned near perfect....a spice seemed to be missing that I could not put my finger on hence the 4 stars! My DD ate 4 patties which is a record for her AND asked me to make them again. I know next time I think I will use coarse ground pepper and play around to see which spice makes this perfection! Easy to make and FAR less greasy than store bought! A winner for sure!

*****Plus 5 stars for inspiring me to make my own sausage! I used ground turkey instead of pork and used the lower amount of sage and red pepper flakes. I also added some cumin for a smokey flavor and about 2/3 cup of grated apple. I made my patties very small and thin. Great recipe!
