I have not tried this yet, but thought it sounded like a very kid friendly dessert. I got this from a parent of one of the kids my son goes to school with

I love the recipe. I use it all the time at my job (a daycare) as a cooking project for the kids. you should see their faces light up when their parents come and they can say they made a pie!hahaha I was double checking the recipe, but mine calls for a small can of crushed pineapple...just a suggestion if you want a slight variation!

Incredibly easy and the texture is wonderful. What an easy dessert. I used Cool Whip Lite and everyone loved it. This goes into the keeper file for sure !

My mom used to make this occasionally when I was young. It is a rich pie and I can't handle too much of it. I think my favorite was always strawberry, but the best thing it is so simple kids can make it too.
