This sauce may be used with meatballs, ribs, chicken wings anything you desire, and may be doubled if desired but do increase the fresh garlic too much or the garlic flavor will be to strong, the chili flakes are only optional I like to add them in for some heat

2 cups (approx) (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
In a bowl whisk together the chicken broth with cornstarch until smooth and no lumps remain.
  2. 2
Add in honey, soy sauce, vinegar and brown sugar; whisk vigorously until well combined.
  3. 3
In a medium saucepan heat oil over medium-low heat.
  4. 4
Add in garlic and chili flakes (if using) cook stirring until softened (about 2 minutes, do not brown the garlic).
  5. 5
Whisk in cornstarch mixture; bring to a simmer stirring constantly and cook until the sauce is slightly thickened (about 3-4 minutes).
  6. 6
    Delicious!

I love this sauce! It tastes great on chicken and oh-so-delicious over rice! My family is not big on anything with soy sauce on it, but they did like the chicken glazed with it. Only the littlest kids had it on their rice like me, but that's okay. More of the extra sauce for us!

Finger-lickin good. Used on Costco meatballs. Made up the sauce and added everything to a crockpot and put on high for a few hours. If you warm up the meatballs before-hand, you can probably just put everything on low for a few hours. AMAZING.

I made this for dinner tonight , and WOW was it ever good! I put this sauce in the crockpot with ribs and it turned out great. The meat was so tender, it just fell off the bones.AND best of all it's Gluten free!! Thanks for sharing!!

We had this last night over meatballs, and it was very good. I think it needed a little more garlic to suit our tastes, but I'll definitely make it again. Thanks for a great new sauce.
