Kids Love 'em South of the Border S'mores

This recipe is from the May issue of Family Fun magazine. My kids loved this delicious sweet treat and request it all the time now!

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Generously coat a medium skillet with vegetable spray and heat it over medium heat.
  2. 2
    Place a tortilla in the skillet, then sprinkle the marshmallow halves and the chocolate chips evenly over it.
  3. 3
    Top with the second tortilla and spray it with vegetable spray as well.
  4. 4
    Cook the tortilla stack for 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned, then carefully flip it and cook on the other side for an additional 1-2 minutes.

    Remove the tortillas to a cutting board, sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the top, then cut the s-more into quarters.

    Makes 4 S'Mores.

Cant rate it yet until I bake it up... but I wanted to say ... I dont know why I never thought of doing that!! it is so simple!! Tonight making enchiladas, this is a good 'dessert' dish... hey its only 70 calories!! :d yumm yumm!

    These were super easy to make, and tasted absolutely delicious! The kids all thought they were better than traditional smores! Thanks so much for posting such an easy and great tasting recipe!

    I guess great minds think alike and we both posted this recipe! I just realized that my photo got moved and I had not reviewed your recipe yet. My kids loved this recipe and it was a snap to make. I did use 1/4 cup of mini marshmallows as that is what I had in the house.

    I agree that the cinnamon-sugar mixture makes this dessert stand out. Even though we had burritos for dinner, these tortillas tasted like dessert. Roxygirl
