A dish from Israel. Used to celebrate the feasts.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 apple, tart like granny smith
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped fine
  • 1 tablespoon grape juice, fresh squeezed is best
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

  1. 1
    Peel, core and grate the apple.
  2. 2
    Mix apple with the remainder of ingredients in a storage container with a lid mixing well.
  3. 3
    Place in the refrigerator for several hours, the apples should be turning brown.

    Enjoy.
