Kb Banana Bread

Recipe #355614 | 1¼ hours | 15 min prep | add private note

By: Mmmama
Feb 13, 2009

My mom has used this recipe for years and now that I have my own family to help me eat it, I love to make it too. I've never found a banana bread recipe I like better.

SERVES 20 , 2 loaves (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
    Preheat oven to 350.
  2. 2
Cream together sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add bananas and eggs and beat until well mixed.
  3. 3
Sift together dry ingredients, then blend with the banana mixture, but do not overmix.
  4. 4
Pour into 2 lightly-greased loaf pans. Bake for 45 minutes to one hour, until firm in the centers and the edges start to separate from pans.
  5. 5
Cool on rack for 10 minutes before removing from pans.
  6. 6
    Freezes very well.
